Matte black all the way around, and then, at the front, a little story: honey-brown decorative bead with its silky shifting band, two rough black matte black beads, and in the center a flat silver-tone disc engraved with a Tree of Life — roots below, branches above, all inside one circle. It is a bracelet that reads as plain black from across the room and rewards anyone who looks closer.
Wear it with a rolled sleeve and a watch on a brown backing material strap, with a navy sweater in autumn, or on a bare wrist with a white tee in summer. The matte decorative bead keeps it understated; the decorative bead warms it up whenever the light moves.
