Description
A handful of fine black backing material cords gathered into two barrel caps, and scattered along them — never in a row, never lined up — small silver-tone leaves with engraved veins. When you turn your wrist the cords shift and the leaves resettle, like leaves on water. Black and silver-color, soft and a little wild.
It is a bracelet for a black turtleneck, a white linen shirt, a denim jacket or a slip dress in the evening. It works alone on the wrist, next to a watch, or layered with a thin chain. Light enough to forget, interesting enough to be asked about.
The cords are round black backing material; the leaf beads are metal in a Tibetan-silver-color finish; the barrel end caps and lobster clasp are silver-tone. Every leaf is threaded on by hand and left where it wants to fall.
