Porous matte-black matte black beads — each one pitted and textured like the volcanic rock it is — circle the wrist, and at the front the shape changes: five small matte black cubes separated by faceted decorative bead spacers, with a mirror-bright decorative bead round at either end. The contrast is the whole point: raw bead against dark, glossy shine.
